Located in the immediate west of London, close to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Notting Hill, Bayswater is one of the most cosmopolitan and multicultural areas of London. The neighbourhood is characterized by an interesting architecture, consisting of traditional Georgian houses.
Bayswater is indisputably London's most diverse district with its pleasant mix of elegant residences and buildings with high architectural significance. Urbanisation has favoured the "crescent", square and "terrace" structures, renovated and restored in the 1960s. Some fine examples of these building facades still adorn Hyde Park Gate.
